We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of HR in Norway to lead our local team and drive our people management strategy forward. As the Head of HR Norway, you will drive the HR agenda locally and promote a positive and engaging work environment for our employees. The role is located in Oslo or Trondheim and reports directly to HR Director in Scandinavia and dotted to Managing Director in Norway.

Your role will involve:

  • Being part of the Scandinavian HR Management Team and driving the HR agenda across our market

  • Together with the country leadership team, develop and implement the strategy, goals, and business plan for Norway

  • Provide strong change leadership by helping the business through transformations and adapting to changing business conditions

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the overall business objectives

  • Build and manage a high-performing HR team that is responsive, effective,
    and professional

  • Support the business with change management initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and rightsizing together with our Employment Legal Counsel

  • Promote a positive and engaging culture that empowers our employees to excel

  • Employer Branding and Talent Acquisition initiatives

  • Learning and leadership development initiatives

  • Performance and Talent Management

  • Compensation and benefit

  • Ensure that HR policies and procedures comply with legal and regulatory requirements

  • Support and implement the company’s diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives

The successful candidate will have:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience operating in senior-level HR leadership roles, preferably from a large organization and/or an international context

  • Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with overall business objectives

  • Experience in leading and managing high-performing teams

  • A proven track record of driving successful people strategies to aid business performance, employee engagement, and a culture of learning and progression

  • Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures, and employment law and regulations

  • A strong track record of developing and implementing programs to attract, develop, and retain top talent

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Displays excellent interpersonal skills and is adept at building strong working relationships with all stakeholders

  • A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

  • A strategic and results-driven mindset

  • A relevant university degree, preferably a master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
